How to Get There

There are plenty of ways to get to New Hope and Lambertville, whether by car, train, bus, or rideshare. If flying, Philadelphia International (one hour drive), Newark International (90 minute drive), or Trenton Regional Airport (20 minute drive) would be the best options. Trenton is the closest option but is a smaller regional airport.  All NYC airports are also options with busses and trains leaving from both JFK and Laguardia Airports to Penn Station in Manhattan where you can catch a train to Trenton on New Jersey Transit. Newark Airport is on the same New Jersey Transit train line as Penn Station and Trenton with trains leaving close to hourly. From Philadelphia

By Car or Rideshare:
There are multiple ways to drive to New Hope/Lambertville from Philadelphia. Use your favorite map app to find the best route based on your starting location and current traffic. The drive takes approximately 1 hour.

By Train and Rideshare:
Take a SEPTA Regional Rail train on the West Trenton Line from Philadelphia to Yardley or West Trenton station. If you are coming from the Philadelphia airport you will need to take the SEPTA Airport Line train from PHL Airport to Suburban Station in Philadelphia and then transfer to the SEPTA West Trenton Line to reach the West Trenton station. From there, use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft for the remaining 10-15 miles to New Hope. The total travel time is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.

From Newark Airport / New York City Area

By Car or Rideshare:
There are many ways to drive to New Hope/Lambertville. Use your favorite map app to find the best route based on your starting location and traffic conditions. The drive takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours.

By Bus:
Trans-Bridge Lines operates buses from Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC to Lambertville, NJ or New Hope. PA. The trip takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, with services running twice daily. You can find the schedule here.

By Train and Rideshare:
Take an NJ Transit or Amtrak train from New York Penn Station or Newark Airport to Trenton Transit Center. From there, use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft for the 14-mile trip to New Hope. The total travel time is approximately 2 hours.
